The Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital is home to a highly skilled and dedicated team of doctors committed to delivering exceptional care for both adult and paediatric patients.

Our department provides comprehensive, specialist services covering a wide range of conditions affecting not only the ear, nose, and throat but also the broader head and neck region. We offer a full spectrum of outpatient and surgical treatments, supported by a variety of sub-specialty clinics that often include joint consultations with other specialists to manage more complex cases. Our clinicians have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of numerous ENT related conditions, including snoring and sleep disorders, tinnitus, glue ear, nasal polyps, tonsillitis, laryngitis, thyroid disorders, and complex rhinology. We also provide advanced care in areas such as skin surgery and head and neck surgery, including treatment for patients with head and neck cancers.

The ENT team works closely with our colleagues in Audiology and Speech and Language Therapy to ensure a multidisciplinary approach, offering professional and compassionate care for patients of all ages.

Our ENT services are delivered across three sites - Royal Berkshire Hospital, Townlands Memorial Hospital, and West Berkshire Community Hospital - ensuring local access to high-quality care. We also maintain strong collaborative links with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and Oxford University Hospitals as part of our regional ENT network.

Whether you require a simple diagnostic assessment or complex surgical care, our ENT department is dedicated to delivering expert, efficient, and personalised treatment in a calm and comfortable setting/
