Our Vaccination Centre is a highly regarded department within the Trust. Our experienced and specially trained team administer preventative medicines and provide education to help protect against preventable illness.
As part of our private service, we offer a specialist Travel Health Service, including:
- Pre‑booked, one‑to‑one travel health consultations
- Travel vaccinations where recommended
- Yellow Fever vaccination and official certification
- Medical exemption certificates where clinically appropriate

Some vaccines may be available free via your GP; our team can advise during your consultation
What happens at your appointment?
You will attend a one‑to‑one consultation with one of our senior nurse vaccinators.
During your appointment, your nurse will:
- Discuss your travel plans and destinations
- Assess recommended vaccinations and precautions
- Consider any existing medical conditions or potential contraindications
- Administer vaccinations where appropriate
- Provide aftercare advice following treatment
All vaccinators are qualified senior nurses with extensive knowledge of travel health, ensuring safe, informed, and personalised care.
Consultations take place in our purpose‑built Vaccination Centre, located on Level 2, South Block, Royal Berkshire Hospital.
