Background

Dr Matthew Gibson is a consultant interventional radiologist at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. He has extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of interventional radiology. He maintains a specialist interest in cross-sectional imaging including gastroenterology, gynaecology and oncology. His areas of interest include peripheral vascular/arterial intervention, venous intervention including vascular access (PICCS, Ports etc) and image guided biopsy.

Dr Gibson has published more than 100 research papers and has held various management positions in the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
