Dr Stirrup is a Consultant Cardiologist and Clinical Lead for Cardiology at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, with specialist expertise in general cardiology and advanced cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography. He provides expert assessment and treatment for patients experiencing chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, and blackouts, as well as those with high blood pressure, angina, heart valve disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

Dr Stirrup has a particular interest in cardiovascular risk reduction and the use of advanced imaging techniques to enhance diagnosis and treatment planning. He treats adult patients aged 18 and over and combines his clinical expertise with an impressive academic and leadership portfolio in cardiovascular imaging.
