Background

Mr Duncan is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Berkshire Hospital with sub-specialist expertise in hip and knee surgery, including robotic joint replacement, revision surgery, and enhanced recovery techniques. He is a leading figure in the introduction of robotic knee replacements and ‘ambulatory’ joint replacements at the trust, helping patients return home the same day as their surgery.

Mr Duncan treats adult patients aged 18 and over and has extensive international training in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive fracture fixation and robotic-assisted surgery. He is actively involved in orthopaedic research and clinical trials, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and a special interest in novel technology in orthopaedics.
