Ms Anikina is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Brunel Medical School, with specialist expertise in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She has a broad clinical focus encompassing general and urgent ophthalmology, cataract surgery, medical retinal diseases, surgical retina, and trauma management.

She is the Training Programme Director for Ophthalmology at the Thames Valley Medical Deanery and holds multiple fellowships in ophthalmology, with a strong academic and research background.
